The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) is organizing the international art contest "United against Corona - Express through Art" in the areas of visual and digital arts.

The present contest, whose applications will run until May 1, 2020, aims to allow artists from all over the world - professionals and amateurs - to express themselves through art, with their interpretations of how the "pandemic caused by the new coronavirus SARS-COV-2 has emotionally affected humanity, bringing to light all that we have, the best and the worst, including the most contradictory emotions: kindness, solidarity, courage, fear, worry, anger ".

India promotes this artistic competition with a view to perpetuating, through the hand of artists, the emotions and feelings that result from this difficult moment, of social isolation but of cohesion between peoples.

The projects should focus on the themes "pandemic", "social distance", "quarantine" and "fight against the virus", reflecting emotions, feelings, ideas and innovative thoughts about COVID-19.
