Portugal and Brazil signed a protocol for adaptation and implementation of the Revive Program in Brazil, in a ceremony chaired by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Rita Marques, and by the Brazilian Minister of Tourism, Marcelo Teixeira Dias.

The Revive program is a partnership between the State and the private sector for the rehabilitation and commercial use of historic buildings and which is granted by the State to the private sector, usually for tourism purposes.

The export of this program aims to "cement the relationship with Brazil, and to provide better conditions for our entrepreneurs to invest abroad and expand their businesses, providing opportunities for anyone who may be interested in investing in Brazilian territory".

The Revive Program in Portugal is allowing the recovery of 50 Portuguese historical monuments, of which 14 are already under concession, with works in progress.
