The Minister of Culture, Graça Fonseca, and the Secretary of State for European Affairs, Ana Paula Zacarias, presented yesterday, in the Almada Negreiros room, at Belém Cultural Center , the Cultural Programming of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
From January 1, 2021, and for six months, Portugal will present a complete and comprehensive display of its cultural wealth, "with open arms for Europe and the World, proving the current European values of solidarity, convergence and cohesion".
"Theater, cinema, music, dance and plastic arts are some of the forms of artistic expression used by Portuguese artists, through which the Portuguese Presidency will enshrine the importance of a resilient, social, green, digital and global Europe".
The program, which includes about 75 actions in 44 countries around the world, has a global budget of around 1.4 million euros.
