Opulent villa of the Roman Empire occupied during late Antiquity and the early days of the rule of Islam.
In the early 4th century it was a luxurious stately home, with spa, oil and wine presses and agricultural facilities, revealing the lifestyle of a family with a high social and political status. This set includes a temple Christianized in the 6th century and used as a cemetery during the Islamic period up to the 10th century, that remains preserved up to the start of the vaults.
Among the archaeological finds are mosaics with a predominantly marine theme, marbles and various ceramics, painted stuccoes, and sculptures that decorated the interiors and the gardens.
