Implanted in a promontory of low altitude pointed at the mouth of the Ria de Alvor, only the residential area of the villa is known.
It was organized along a portico corridor communicating with several spaces: a triclinium and associated reception rooms; a hexagonal peristyle that served five rooms surrounded by gardens; a domestic service area and an advanced gallery over the estuary.
The archaeological materials point to an occupation between the 1st and the 5th centuries. Along with the fabulous view over the wetland, with abundant birdlife, the polychrome mosaics with geometric patterns constitute one of the factors of attractiveness of this archaeological site, currently under restoration at the Museu de Portimão.
