Évora

Templo Romano

Monuments | Patrimony

Built in the first half of the 1st century AD. C., the Roman Temple of Évora was for a long time considered as being dedicated to Diana.

In the absence of any evidence proving it, and considering the historical context at the time of its construction, it is now more consensual that it was dedicated to the imperial cult.
